Stephanie Scott serves as Assistant General Counsel for Cincinnati Public Schools, one of Ohio’s largest school districts. In her role, she provides legal counsel on a wide range of educational, personnel, and governance matters. Prior to joining the public sector, she practiced law at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, one of Cincinnati’s leading firms.
Stephanie is an active leader in the legal community. She currently serves as a member of NKU Chase College of Law Board of Visitors and the Alumni Council and was recently named to the Ohio Council of School Board Attorneys executive committee. She also serves with the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati, including as Banquet Committee member and past Chair for its minority law student scholarship fundraiser. She has also contributed to the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Section and Diversity Committee. Her professional and service achievements have been recognized with the NKU Chase College of Law Distinguished Alumni Award (2024), the Cincinnati Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Professionalism Award (2021) and the Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio Rising Star Award (2018).

Outside her legal work, Stephanie is deeply involved in civic and faith communities. She serves on the board for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and also as Chair of the Campbell County YMCA Branch Advisory Board. She serves as Administrative Pastor at Fellowship of Church of God in Covington, Kentucky, and was a member of the NKY Chamber of Commerce Regional Leadership Program Steering Committee.
As Secretary of Ensemble con Fuoco’s Board of Trustees, Stephanie brings her legal expertise, passion for education, and deep commitment to community service to help guide the ensemble’s mission and growth.
